Cleon Skousen, author of The Naked Communist, the book that exposes communism and seeks to restore freedom, says that socialism is the gateway to communism and the atheist Utopia that is a godless hell. Communist leaders believe that every student should pursue his studies of Marxism until he has discovered the answers to such questions as: What is the communist law of opposites? What is the law of negation? What is the law of transformation?”
Skousen recommends that Americans need to be aware that Marx and Engels dealt with much more than violent revolution and communist economics. They developed a framework of ideas designed to explain everything in existence without any concept of God. The creeping atheism that is becoming more and more evident in American public schools is just one more sign that a communist takeover has been brewing for seventy years. Bernie Sanders is part of this draconian effort to destroy America.
The basic idea is that everything in existence can be explained by one thing—matter. Beyond matter there is nothing. Religious ideas about God, angels, demons, parallel realities are, according to communist thinking, nothing but madness. Communist philosophy maintains that if science can get to know all there is to know about matter, then we will know all there is to know about everything because everything is only matter. Communism has therefore assigned to science the monumental task of making man totally omniscient—of knowing all truth—but has limited the investigation to one reality—matter. Matter is conclusively accepted as the beginning and the end of all reality.
Once this intellectual platform is established in the minds of the population, the serious student is ready to understand that communist philosophy seeks to answer three questions: First, what is the origin of energy or motion in nature? Second, what causes galaxies, solar systems, planets, animals, and all kingdoms of nature to constantly increase their numerical quantity? And third, what is the origin of life, the origin of species, and the origin of consciousness and mind?
Marx and Engels started with what they called “The Law of Opposites.” Everything in existence is a combination or unity of opposites, such as electricity, which is characterized by a positive and negative charge. Atoms consist of protons and electrons which are unified but contradictory forces. Each inorganic body has qualities of attractions and repulsion.
The communist philosophy asserts that God is not the beginning of motion and energy. Rather, the unity of opposites in nature is the force which makes each entity in the world autodynamic and provides the constant motivation for movement and change.
This concept was borrowed from Georg Wilhelm Hegel, who died in 1831. Hegel said: “Contradiction in nature is the root of all motion and of all life.” This is the Hegelian dialectic. It posits opposites and contradiction as the source of all cosmic energy and power.
It seems to me that these thinkers have missed something entirely. They use the word “nature.” But where did “nature” come from? They speak of atoms. Where did they come from? Where did contradiction come from? Contradiction assumes non-contradiction. It seems like these materialists are assuming more than they should.
Did you ever notice that the word “assume” begins with three letters—a-s-s. Anyone who believes this stuff is just that. But this explains why the Democratic National Convention in San Francisco last August made atheism a part of its platform. There is no room for a concept of “God” on its platform. It is totally secular and it arrogantly denies that there is an immaterial, or non-material invisible world. It’s like when the Russian cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin went into outer space and said, “There is no god up here. I haven’t found him.” Maybe Gagarin needed special glasses. Maybe God is hiding because Gagarin is a foolish man and God doesn’t want to reveal Himself to foolish people who don’t know their limitations!
To put it plainly, Bernie Sanders and all the other communists in the Democratic Party are dangerous to everything that we love as Americans—freedom, joy, hope, and love.
Communists believe in a mechanistic universe, a universe without meaning and morality. It is absolutely shocking how far we’ve come. A practicing, open, unabashed homosexual was running for president, and now we have a millionaire communist who wants to straighten us all out. This is not the American dream. It is the American disaster!
