The Liberal World Order

While on a recent trip to Japan, President Joe Biden said that America is “going through an incredible transition” to “be less reliant on fossil fuels.” Following Biden’s remarks, White House economic adviser Brian Deese suggested high prices and pain at the pump was the price Americans had to pay for the “future of the liberal world order.” 

I don’t know about you, but the “liberal world order” is killing my wallet. According to the US Department of Agriculture, a family of four on a thrifty food plan will pay $917 for groceries per month, up about 65% from a year ago. Gasoline prices have jumped over 53% from $2.46 a gallon when Biden first took office to over $5 a gallon. In Mendocino, California, you will pay a whopping $10 per gallon. I’m not sure if Americans can afford to continue this “transition.” 

Mysterious Fires

While prices continue to rise, fires have destroyed many of America’s food processing plants. The latest fires are part of a trend that began last year. As of this writing, more than a hundred United States food processing plants have been destroyed, damaged, or impacted by “accidental fires,” disease, or other causes. Here are just a few examples:  

• 1/11/21 A fire destroyed a 75,000-square-foot processing plant in Fayetteville, NC
• 4/30/21 A fire ignited inside the Smithfield Foods pork processing plant in Monmouth, IL
• 7/25/21 Three-alarm fire at Kellogg plant in Memphis, TN
• 7/30/21 Firefighters battled a large fire at Tyson’s Ingredients plant in Hanceville, AL
• 8/23/21 Fire crews were called to the Patak Meat Production company in Austell, GA
• 9/13/21 A fire at the JBS beef plant in Grand Island, NE, forced a halt to production
• 10/13/21 A five-alarm fire ripped through the Darigold butter production plant in Caldwell, ID
• 11/15/21 A woman allegedly started a fire at the Garrard County Food Pantry in Lancaster, KY
• 11/29/21 A fire broke out at the Maid-Rite Steak Company meat processing plant in Dunmore, PA
• 12/13/21 West Side food processing plant in San Antonio, TX, was damaged after a fire
• 1/13/22 Firefighters battled a fire out at the Cargill-Nutrena plant in Lecompte, LA
• 1/31/22 a fertilizer plant caught on fire on Cherry Street in Winston-Salem, NC
• 2/3/22 A massive fire swept through Wisconsin River Meats in Mauston, WI
• 2/3/22 At least 130 cows were killed in a fire at Percy Farm in Stowe, VT
• 2/15/22 Bonanza Meat Company went up in flames in El Paso, TX
• 2/15/22 A fire destroyed most of the Shearer’s Foods plant in Hermiston, OR
• 2/16/22 A fire damaged America’s largest soybean processing and biodiesel plant in Claypool, IN
• 2/18/22 An early morning fire tore through the milk parlor at Bess View Farm in St. Albans, VT
• 2/19/22 An ammonia leak caused a shutdown at Lincoln Premium Poultry in Fremont, NE
• 2/22/22 The Shearer’s Foods plant in Hermiston, OR, caught fire again after a boiler exploded
• 2/28/22 A fire raged out of control at Nutrien Ag Solutions in Sunnyside, WA
• 2/28/22 A man was hurt during a fire at the Dutch Girl Creamery in Lincoln, NE
• 3/16/22 A fire damaged a Walmart warehouse distribution center in Plainfield, IN
• 3/16/22 Nestle Food Plant was extensively damaged in a fire in Jonesboro, AR
• 3/24/22 A major fire damaged the McCrum potato processing facility in Belfast, ME
• 3/29/22 A massive fire burned 40,000 pounds of food in storage near Maricopa, AZ
• 3/31/22 A structure fire damaged a key fresh onion packing facility in south Texas
• 4/13/22 Fire destroyed East Conway Beef & Pork Meat Market in Conway, NH
• 4/13/22 A plane crashed into Gem State Processing potato processing plant in Heyburn, ID
• 4/14/22 Taylor Farms Food Processing plant burned down Salinas, CA
• 4/19/22 Azure Standard food processing in Dufur, OR, was destroyed by fire 
• 4/21/22 A small plane crashed at a General Mills plant in Covington, GA
• 5/19/22 A train carrying fertilizer derailed at Jensen Beach, FL
• 5/29/22 A fire destroyed a poultry building at Forsman Farms in Howard Lake, MN
• 6/7/22 A fire damaged the JBS meat packing plant in Green Bay, WI
• 6/8/22 A fire gutted the Purina Feed Mill in Arcola, LA
• 6/9/22 Irrigation water was canceled in California (the #1 producer of food in the US) and storage water flushed directly out to the delta
• 6/12/22 The largest pork company in the US shut down a California plant due to high costs
• 6/13/22 Fire broke out at a processing plant west of Waupaca County in Belmont, WI
• 6/14/22 Over 10,000 head of cattle died in the Kansas heat wave
• 6/23/22 George’s Inc. Poultry closed its food processing plant in Campbell County, TN
• 1/1/2021-6/30/22 In addition to the fires, almost 50 million chickens, 3 million turkeys, and a half million ducks have been destroyed due to disease

Are we are supposed to believe that what we are witnessing is just one “tragic accident” after another? We aren’t supposed to see any sort of a pattern, and we aren’t supposed to ask any questions. People sure are getting careless these days, because “accidents” just keep happening time after time after time. I’m starting to think the “liberal world order” means America will have empty grocery store shelves.  

Missing Food

All of this is taking place at a moment in history when we are being told we are about to enter an absolutely horrifying global food crisis. During recent testimony in front of the UN Security Council, the CEO of Gro Intelligence warned that “the lowest grain inventory levels the world has ever seen” are getting even lower. Sara Menker said, “It is important to note that the lowest grain inventory levels the world has ever seen are now occurring while access to fertilizers is highly constrained. And drought in wheat growing regions around the world is the most extreme it’s been in over 20 years. Similar inventory concerns also apply to corn and other grains.” In other words, there isn’t going to be enough food for everyone. 

My intention in writing this article was not to scare you, but to prepare you. I am not saying you should be a “prepper” and stock ten thousand cans of SPAM in your basement. But unless (in the words of Hank Williams Jr.) you can “skin a buck and run a trotline,” maybe it wouldn’t be a bad idea to pick up an extra can of beans or two… The Bible reminds us:

Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise: Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler, Provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest.

—Proverbs 6:6-8 

Malnourished Future

While these events may or may not plunge the world into a worldwide famine soon, the Bible is clear – a global famine will strike the world during the Tribulation. The Bible describes this famine in detail (Revelation 6:5-6). Riding on a black horse and holding a pair of scales, Revelation 6 says a voice calls out, “A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.” The rider’s scales suggest a need to carefully measure and ration the food supply. Three measures of barley equal about one pint which is the minimum amount of food needed to survive. This verse is telling us a time is coming when an entire day’s wages will only buy enough food to survive.

When this happens, it is possible the Genesis story of Joseph and Pharaoh will play out a second time. Desperate for food, most of the world will willingly give their wealth and power to anyone who can feed them. Just as in ancient Egypt, when the dust finally settles, one man will control everything. That man is the final world ruler – the Antichrist.
